Growing Tomatoes: How to stop a group of earwig tomato plants of his
Tomato plants suffer from pests, as any other plant in your garden. But personally, I find earwigs as the greatest pain.
They like to eat the leaves of a tomato plant, and if enough of them, which can kill the plant. If you're just fighting against some, and then removing them by hand can work.
But Most earwigs have a tendency to form a crowd and head in his garden of tomatoes between 2 and 4 hours for lunch buffet. Some are brass enough to eat during the day but at night is also the perfect setting for a midnight snack.
This is what worked for me. If you are a drinker beer, so it's good for you and the garden tomatoes!. Earwigs love cooking, and guess what is in beer?. Yeast!
You do this a few ways you can pay a little beer in a pie tin foil and leave it on the garden overnight. Earwigs are attracted in yeast, and falls within this provision a few.
But if you have a windy area, like me, then it might not work as well. Awaking pie plates around spraying and beer! Find a container that can be buried, or better yet, buy beer in cans, drink about 1 / 2 beer, then bury the can of beer, leaving about 1 inch from the top of the box of the earth.
Earwigs crawl in the box. Make sure you are finished watering their tomato plants and then place the can. Every day, replace the box of a new batch of beer.
So now you can enjoy the garden tomatoes later, and will now have a beer 1 / 2, or a party where a few rows of seed tomatoes that need protection. You'll be happy and it's your tomatoes!

question of tomato plants?
I live in a condo, so I have my tomato plants in the yellow soil, but are in large containers with drainage in my yard. I have planted in Miracle Gro a month ago which should feed them for 3 months. They flourished at first, but last week, I noticed a change. We received a lot of rain outside, so I do not know if the lack of sun is the question (the rain has not usually get on my plants b / c on the balcony above). The first thing I noticed is part of the larger leaves and more light. It is yellow, but the type of yellow-green with veins of dark green leaves. Some of them seem almost dry on the edges. A few days later, I realized that some of the smallest leaves have begun to seek other wilty. I try to judge the moisture level daily and water if necessary. There are no spots on the leaves, no bugs on the site, and are more and more. Ideas?
Well using Miracle Grow soil is probably not enough nitrogen in the soil pots, for when the nitrogen goes very quickly. If you have any room the upper left home compost pots, if possible, and I would use a mixture of fish and coffee (free in a Starbucks) to that the plants begin to flower. Then use an organic fertilizer flower farm Fox made a big one. Sun is also very important for tomatoes more, better, try to use light reflectors to improve the sun. Some strains also grow better in pots to see if your plants are indeterminate or determined. Hope this helps.
