Learn about the location of the garden?

Ok … do not laugh … My husband and I have a small patio. I love gardening, but not there there are enough places that have a good dose of sun all day. Trees blocking the sun are actually more the other side of our guide on sites adjacent to the tree removal is not an option. We also have a dog run for our dogs that can not be moved or removed as one of our canine partners yard decimated in the past (which is why it is now the dog runs). That said, the pen for dogs, which affects our lawn gets an amount glorious sunshine all day … and the fact that it is a wire fence … I could make a good place for tomatoes and other plants "vid" (which just had that pass over any fruit growth below the spray LOL). Very probably he had put a barrier between the fence and plants to prevent contact. Anyway, does anyone know of any reason as to cultivate vegetables near an area where dogs urinate and defecate could be harmful?

The only time I think it would be a problem if you do not remove the faeces. You do not want the dog doo integrated into your garden soil, e-coli and all.
