Here is a recipe for spaghetti sauce that I made recently. I have a herb garden cool and wanted to use all fresh ingredients. My wife loves it. Dress Sauce: 2 cans tomato sauce 1 / 2 onion (I was using Vidalia) 8-10 basil leaves chopped / diced 4 sprigs of oregano, chopped / tablespoon sugar cut four large oil 2-3 cloves garlic olive taste salt and pepper to taste Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil. Add basil and oregano and saute. Add tomato sauce, sugar and salt and pepper and simmer 10-15 minutes. If you like salsa music, try cutting a couple of Roma tomatoes and add it to jump with basil and oregano.
