Can I use a red cloth mylar to help tomatoes grow faster?

Try growing these little plants and helping to produce the size tomatoes.

I had a friend who planted rows of tomatoes on their land in the country. Lots of space and many tomatoes so this was not just a coincidence … tomato plants that had red (plastic?) established by virtue of their growth at least twice as large as other tomatoes! No joke. Thank you for the reminder. I'll put in my tomatoes this year. PS I do "Straw Bale Gardening first time this year. I am very happy because it will be much easier to harvest and keep watered. I wish you luck in your garden.
