transplanting tomatoes, you can cut the roots?
Ok I'll see if I can explain it to where it makes sense. My friend has a AeroGarden if you do not know that is to say, very expensive every time you buy such covenants pre-seed is put into these small holes in the top container, which fill them with plenty of water and field more. So my friend has three tomato plants growing and since it is in motion I said, they should be plants and transplanting. Well once I looked at the house and the system does not really think it is designed for that. The roots of tomato plants are intermingled with each other and have grown in these plastic rods in the system. The bottom line is, no matter how carefully I take the plants roots will cheat or will I be cut. So it can cut the roots of plants and are still live and prosper? If yes, how exactly do I do? I 'm new to gardening and I am increasingly a lot of vegetables in spring and summer. Thank you in advance.
Be nice! Just cut as much roots that you need to get plants off. If you leave 50% ,,,,, The roots should be fine. When planting,,,, the plant in mid the mother on earth. The stem will grow roots along the sides.
